REQUIREMENTS:

• Students must be ages 8-18.

• Students must perform a total of 2 pieces. (Example: actors should perform 2 contrasting monologues.  Actors who sing should perform 1 song and 1 monologue.  Dancers should perform 2 different styles of dance, etc) 

• Each audition piece must be approx. 1 minutes in length.

• Bring your own musical tracks. Please have your music downloaded on your device.

• Bring a headshot and resume if you have one. (Recommended but only optional.)

• If chosen, students must sign up tentatively Mondays or Fridays for private lessons, and then ensemble groups meet on Saturdays (AB) and Sundays (JTF)

• If you are unable to attend auditions, please send a video submissions to jocelyn@setstudiosjax.com by 8 PM on Sunday night. 

 

Actor Examples:

• 1 comedic monologue 

• 1 dramatic monologue 

• 1 pantomime

• 1 original character (tell us a story as that character)

 

Singer Examples:  

• Broadway uptempo

• Broadway ballad

• Pop/rock uptempo

• Pop/rock ballad

• No acapella songs

• Jazz

• Lyrical

• Tap

• Hip-hop

• Contemporary

• Ballet
