SET Studios Policies & Procedures

  1. Doors will open 15 minutes before class.  We are conveniently located on the corner of San Pablo Road and Beach Blvd, right next to Hope's Closet. Parents need to sign their child in and out on the first day, as well as, sign a liability waiver and photography release.

  2. Parents must sign their child in and out of class.  Anyone that is NOT the child’s immediate family member or guardian must present a photo ID when picking up your child.  They will not be allowed to cross the street to the parking lot.  If you are going to be late picking up your child, please contact us as soon as possible.

  3. WE LOVE OUR NEIGHBORS! DO NOT PULL UP IN FRONT OF THE DOOR OR IN FRONT OF THE GYM AND WAIT FOR YOUR CHILD TO COME OUTSIDE.  OUR FRIENDS AT BROOKS REHAB CENTER ASKED THAT WE DO NOT BLOCK THE HANDICAP RAMP.

  4. Bring a snack and/or a packed lunch and (labeled) water bottle.  We will take breaks accordingly when needed. We also have a vending machine and snack bar for your convenience, so if you forget, they may purchase snacks.

  5. No food, candy, or drinks are allowed in the stage area during class time. Kids may eat in the lobby and/or in the hallway. All personal items should be in a bag or backpack and will be kept in a designated area. We have lockers in the back of the studio.

  6. Dress appropriately for class. Loose fitting clothes or dance attire and closed-toe shoes are perfect!  Kids should be prepared to move. No flip flops, crocs, or sandals.  Sneakers or jazz shoes are ideal.

  7. If your child has any symptoms of being sick (i.e.  sore throat, cough, runny nose, fever, etc), please keep your child at home for the safety of others.

  8. Cell phones are not allowed in class unless being used for recording purposes. Students may check messages during break times which will usually be at the top of the hour.

  9. Indecent language or actions, verbal or physical bullying, or any form of misconduct including property damage to the building, furniture, costumes and/or props will lead to termination of membership at SET Studios with no refund.  Any property damages made by any student will be the financial responsibility of the parents.

  10. SET Studios is not responsible for any damaged or lost items brought in by the student.  We advise to NOT bring anything of value. LABEL EVERYTHING!!!!
