REQUIREMENTS:

• Students must be ages 8-18.

• Students must perform a total of 2 pieces: 1 monologue/1 song or dance

• Student should provide an instrumental or karaoke track.  There will not be an accompanist on site.

• Each audition piece must be 1-2 minutes in length.

• Students must sign up for an audition time.   

• If chosen, students must sign up Fridays for lessons and then ensemble work meets on Saturdays and Sundays.  Students must sign up for private lessons with one of our instructors.  

 

Actor Examples:

• 1 comedic monologue 

• 1 dramatic monologue 

• 1 pantomime

• 1 original character (tell us a story as that character)

 

Singer Examples:  

• Broadway uptempo

• Broadway ballad

• Concert uptempo

• Concert ballad

• No acapella songs

Dancer Examples:

• Jazz

• Lyrical

• Tap

• Hip-hop

• Contemporary

• Ballet

Video submissions are accepted year round.  

There is a $40 audition fee.

Competition kids will work towards and perform at

a Musical Theatre Competition in March

and then also be able to attend

the Junior Theatre Festival in Atlanta in January 2021.

Auditions will be Sunday, September 12th.
